It’s important for musicians to be able to turn on Original Sound in Zoom so that you come through when you sing and play. It’s not easily visible on the computer screen, and may not be available, so here’s a visual tutorial that should help!
The first thing you need to do is open the Zoom app on your computer.
Select the “Settings” wheel in the upper right corner of your Zoom Home screen.
Select “Audio” in the settings screen.
Make sure that “Show in-meeting options to enable ‘Original Sound'” is CHECKED!
Now, when you are in a meeting, you will have the option to enable Original Sound:
See that little green shield on the top left of your meeting screen? That’s where you can toggle Original Sound on and off. The screen above has Original Sound OFF
