Grace Notes & Banking Make Up Lessons
Grace Notes
We understand that life throws curve balls at us on a regular basis, and sometimes we just can’t remember everything or keep all our commitments. In order to extend a little grace for these moments, we will be issuing one CML Grace Note per student per session.
At the beginning of each session, we will hand you a physical “Grace Note” card that we recommend you keep in your binder. At any point during the session, if you need to cancel your lesson at the last minute, you can hand us your grace note to get a make up lesson with no questions asked. The make up lesson must be completed within one week of the scheduled lesson or prior to the end of the session, whichever comes first. 4-Lesson Package students may use the Grace Note to take an extra week to complete your lessons.
(These grace notes expire at the end of each session.)
Banking Make Up Lessons
Another way to ensure that you get all the lessons for each session you pay for is to bank make up lessons ahead of time. Some weeks are just busier than others. If you suspect you may have difficulty attending your regularly-scheduled lessons toward the end of a session or around the holidays, bank a makeup lesson a week or more in advance.
There are three ways you can bank a makeup lesson:
- Look in My Music Staff for available times during weeks that aren’t so busy and book yourself;
- Call Kirsten Livingston between 9:00 a.m. – noon, Monday through Friday to ask for available times; or
- Email Kirsten at kirsten@crescendomusicloft.com to ask for available times.
