Kailyn is the newest addition to the Crescendo staff and is excited to support the growing student community. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, she moved to New York City in 2018 to pursue a career in musical theater. Kailyn spent five years traveling the world performing on cruise ships, where she met her fiancé, Shaun— though his role involves driving the ship rather than singing on it. Kailyn now lives in North Branford, where she’s happily putting down roots and continuing to share her love of music.
Kailyn holds a BFA in Musical Theater Performance from the University of Arizona and has been running a private voice studio since 2020. In addition to performing extensively as a solo artist, she was also a member of the popular disco tribute group, The Chiclettes, and the international pinup darlings The Satin Dollz. Lessons are a full-body creative experience with Kailyn—you might find yourself pretending your voice is a fiery laser beam or imagining you’re swimming through a pool of honey while singing your favorite song. When she’s not teaching or performing, Kailyn enjoys practicing yoga, reading, hiking, and spending time giggling with her daughter, Leya.
