Latin Grammy Award-Winning Drummer Joe McCarthy presents his Intensive Drum Set Workshop. Spend two days in a comfortable and intimate setting, working side-by-side with one of today’s foremost drum set educators. Among other topics, the class will cover:
- Technique and how it applies musically to the drum set
- How, what, and why to practice
- Duple- and triple-based grooves
- and their phrasing possibilities (time/soloing)
- Chart reading/Ensemble playing
