Repeat Offenders at The Loft

Imagine this… it’s the Saturday evening after Thanksgiving (Nov. 24th, as it turns out), and you’re finally coming out of your turkey-induced coma. You look around and all you see is family and football (and you’ve probably had enough of both by then). But what to DO?
Well, how about packing up a picnic dinner and your favorite libation (we’ll leave it up to you if you want to pack up the family, too), and joining a new band called The Repeat Offenders for an evening of roots music – vintage blues, rockabilly, country, rock, and R&B. We’ve been performing at open mics for a while, and now it’s time to hit the big time at The Loft at Crescendo Music Studio in Madison.
Who are The Repeat Offenders?
In alphabetical order, we have Barry Felson on rhythm guitar (and lead vocals), John Jarvis on bass (and the odd vocal), Peter Menta on harmonica and washboard (and more odd vocals), Justin Paglino on keyboards (and yet more odd vocals), and Pete Magnotti on drums. We’ll have a few other surprise(d) musicians and singers sitting in as well.
The plan is to start with dinner and getting to know everybody at 6:30. The first set will start at 7:30, and it’ll all be over (except for the lighters held up in the air, and screamin’ and hollerin’ for more) by 9:30. There’s no cover charge (but we certainly won’t turn down any contributions to help defray the costs and pay the starving talent).
